Summary: We didnt stay but we book the room for one night, and arrived after 8 pm, amd reception centre was closed, they left the key in the glass box which is all fine. After we found our place, the common area and our suit lights are so yellow, and dark. Also the smell when we enter the little house. We also found spider webs in the bathroom and our suit lights. Two gaint moths flying around in our room. Toilet in the bathroom is dated so as the sink; hardly can turn off the tap. We just left, didn't stay for the night, very disappointed, kids was looking forward to spend the night in a cottage house like this. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Summary: The property is generally well kept and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The Saddle Mountain motel is old but offers a good value and is clean. Worth it. Only complaint is they need to pickup trash left on the lawn and walkway along the motel rooms. There was a used face mask and towelette wipe on the false grass in front of my room. The restaurant is excellent.

Summary: I was really disappointed the pictures that were shown on hotels.com where of the lodge and the cabins and all the beautiful log work and gorgeous rooms, when I got there, I was told my room was across the highway at another part of the hotel was a very old part of the hotel. It was more of a motel than any type of resort and every time I opened the door to go out to my car for any reason The mosquitoes were so bad and when I got there, my room was full of mosquitoes. I must’ve killed at least 30 of them when I arrived that must’ve got in when the cleaners were doing the room. It’s not that the room was dirty. It’s that the room was old. It was not comfortable. It just was not what I was expecting because the pictures that were shown were absolutely beautiful and the motel across the street was not. Be sure if you book at this hotel/resort that you find out first where they will be placing you and if they say that you’ll be staying at the property across the highway from the resort, depending on what you’re expecting, I would say don’t do it. It is well kept but it has seen better days and the mosquitoes that were in my room were not fun. I spent the night chasing a buzzing sound so that I could get some sleep. I left there with multiple mosquito bites. I don’t usually leave bad reviews because I read the reviews and they were great and I looked at all the pictures and they were awesome but this was like night and day from what I booked. I wish I was told about!!!!!

Summary: All was good but restaurant menu was expensive to.need to have easy everyday things like burgers..fries. Everything was nothing I ate. But girl was very nice.

Summary: Beautiful place to stay! Very quiet and peaceful since it’s off-season. Our cabin was beautiful and spacious, it smelled fresh and was very clean. Our dog loved it too! Our sunset walk to the lake was absolutely lovely. The staff were very nice as well. :)

Summary: After a kayak trip on Murtle Lake, the bed was super comfortable and the water was hot. The beer was cold and the food good at the onsite restaurant. Very good one night stay.
